Tohoku University Collaboration Team
Our research centers on condensed matter physics and promotes interdisciplinary studies through the mathematical sciences. We focus on theoretical investigations of many-body quantum phenomena in solid-state and ultracold atomic systems, as well as topological and non-Hermitian physics spanning photonics and classical systems. Leveraging the interdisciplinary environment at iTHEMS, we actively explore connections with fields such as high-energy physics, mathematics, and biology. We also seek to bridge theory and experiment, fostering collaborations that connect iTHEMS, Tohoku University, and the global research community.
