RIKEN iTHEMS – NCTS Joint Postdoctoral Position

RIKEN Center for Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) and Taiwan’s National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) have launched a joint research initiative starting in April 2026 and are now inviting applications for several RIKEN iTHEMS – NCTS Joint Postdoctoral Positions.

This call is open to researchers in theoretical physics. The program aims to foster interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers at iTHEMS and research groups at NTU/NCTS, including Prof. Pei-Ming Ho (high-energy theory), Prof. Guang-Yu Guo (condensed matter theory), and others.

Successful candidates are expected to play an active international role as a bridge between the Japanese and Taiwanese research communities, promoting cross-disciplinary research at the forefront of theoretical physics.
